The day started leaving home by 9 o'clock am well before kickoff. The security oversight was fantastic showing the capability of State and local law enforcement. After entering into gate B and parking by the training facility we were met with professional and courteous officials. There was a double amputee gentlemen named Kenny that was struck by a drunk driver back in 1992. I donated a book to the gentleman and "Charlie Miked" to the media center.
Overall, the experience was enlightening and an awesome opportunity to share my message and story. A big thanks to Annabelle and the rest of the staff at NC State for the awesome experience and allowing me to feel like a part of the family!
